Brume’s Sextet

A formation of dense fog occurred recently; this observer was giddy to say the least. Understanding time was limited, one made haste to a local nature preserve. I instantly fell for this dreamy composition. The muted trees in the background, hazy greens of the brush, and tan cottontails all reflected a pastel wave of music upon the pond.

Remember scrambling all over that morning, perplexed by the changing elements. As some point one finally slowed down, took a deep breath, and settled with this scene. Was quite the birthday surprise; surely something for the record books.
