Spangled Basin

A light snowfall helps highlight nature's beauty in the park.

Walked what seemed to be miles on end the day of capturing this, completely overlooking this composition not far from the trailhead. The stark contrast of tree bark, fresh fallen snow, meager remains of autumn and golden cattails. Each furthers this scene through a rich distinction. One mustn’t complain too much about those miles put in, as without them this view may never have existed.
